Dr. Heather Yeckes Rodin, MD

She diagnosed me with multiple myeloma 7 years ago and referred me to UAMS in Little Rock Arkansas where I received the best care. She did what was best for me and my survival rather than attempting to treat me locally. She saved my life and I will be forever grateful. She does what's best for the patient irregardless of her pocketbook. I have recommend her to many and they have all reported the same caring treatment

I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma 7 years ago. Fortunately I was able to research treatment before making the choice to leave Stuart for UAMS in Little Rock AR. We virtually lived there for over a year. After my return I researched locally for the best Hematologist. Dr Yeckes came out on top. She has continued to care for me in conjunction with the worlds best in Little Rock without the attitude so often associated with some doctors. She is without any doubt the best doctor in Florida. Very capable of treating my cancer, one that is extremely technical. I couldn't be happier having her on my side through all of this.

Dr Yeckes Rodin has been treating me for Myeloma for several years now. Very pleased with her care.

Dr Yeckes is AMAZING!! I highly recommend her. She is the most compassionate, caring, up front, honest doctor that will fight for you and your health no matter what. She goes great lengths for her patients. I have NEVER had a more caring or educated doctor than her. She is the best!! If it wasn't for her I would have died. I was majorly misdiagnosed by Lawnwood Medical center's doctor who read my bone marrow biopsy and if it wasn't for her knowing that it was wrong and sending me to Florida Hospital now Advent Health to Dr. Zakari and his team who between the both of them determined I had AML LEUKEMIA and needed a bone marrow transplant I would have died and thanks to her I'm still here. Thank you doctor Yeckes from the bottom of my heart. You are my hero ???and my guardian ??angel. You gave me another chance at life. God bless you ??????????

I have read the reviews regarding Dr. Yekes and I had to laugh. When my family member was referred to her we checked around, spoke to other cancer patients about her and people actually said, "You either Love her or Hate her there is not a lot of in between." People! Give her a chance, get to know her and let her get to know you and to figure out your plan of treatment. I promise, you won't be sorry! She is amazing! Some of the negative reviews I read said she was not caring, not compassionate, didn't care about her patients, etc. After getting to know her and having 4 family members with cancer at the same time 2 of them being her patients, I can tell you that is so off from what I have experienced with her. If your the kind of person that does not want to follow the Docs orders or plan treatment, then she is NOT for you! Dr. Yekes Is compassionate, and caring more than you know. Not sure how to say this, but she is not interested in being your friend (that is last) she is more… interested in doing her job and saving your life! Not sure about anyone else, but in my opinion, especially when you are terminally ill - I'm not looking for a doctor to be my friend, I'm looking for someone to help save my life! As she has said, I may not be able to cure you but I can help you to live longer and have somewhat of a normal life as your living. I can tell you she knows what she is doing, she is a brilliant doctor! My one family member would not be here right now if it wasn't for her and her expertise on chemo choices. I have come in contact with many doctors due to my family members all being sick and anytime her name is brought up the other dr.'s exact words are she is a brilliant Dr. and I soooo agree. I can honestly say if I were sick I would want her on my side. I have seen her go up even against other dr.s and insurance companies to fight for her patients, doctors she knows and her main concern at the time is her patient. I can say enough good about her, she is not perfect she is a human being as well but I personally love her and thank god for her.

This Dr. Spent more time talking about herself, and promoting herself than caring for and properly treating my wife. She was unwilling to listen to, or communicate with the Doctors who performed surgery on, provided initial radiation and chemotherapy, and cared for my wife at a Large Florida Medical Center. I only wish I would have chosen to stay at this medical Center rather than be treated near home. This Doctor was recommended to us, I would never recommend her to anyone. The Staff, and the Nurses were wonderful.

Office staff is RUDE and uncaring! If you have any financial difficulties and you don't qualify for one of the charities she will turn on you like a snake! Save yourself the stress FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!!! She's all about money not you.

Dr. Yeckes-Rodin is a life saver for me, very knowledgeable and caring. I recommend her highly !

I was not at all impressed with Dr. Yeckes. She had been recommended to us for the treatment of my mother. I found her to be extremely condescending and lacking any compassion or hope for her patients. There are other very caring compassionate doctors in her group that I would highly recommend. Nobody wants to deal with cancer and the horrible process of treatments-but, to have a doctor be your partner, on your team rooting for you, listening to you and giving you some glimmer of hope and compassion-really goes a long way. Don't waste your time with Dr. Yeckes, she's not worth your precious time.
