Dr. Hector Miguel Almanzar-Ramos

I have been seeing Dr. Ramos for almost two years now and each appointment has been a disappointment. He always seems to be in a hurry and doesn’t seem to listen to your concerns as a patient. Just to mention one instance, I had a cold with suspected post cold bronchitis/URI and waited 4-5 weeks for it to resolve on its own but it didn’t. I messaged Dr. Ramos explaining in detail how I was feeling with appointment already booked in the next 3 weeks. He didn’t read my message and just advised me to schedule an appointment with him for further evaluation (as I had already did and mentioned). I didn’t ask to be prescribed any serious meds just a z-pack and inhaler to get me through these symptoms until my appointment with him in 3 weeks. He didn’t listen, didn’t care and didn’t advise me on anything else other than to schedule a visit and seem to collect his co-pay at our next visit. And this is just one instance. These type physicians makes me sad and disappointed in our healthcare… system. I will never recommend him to anyone.
