Dr. Hector Jose Cases

Appointment time 9:30 AM, called to exam room approximately 10:30 and had blood pressure taken by assistant, at 12:00 sharp, no action, I left office advising that two and one half hours wait with no explanation was unacceptable, and I am usually a very patient man.

Dr. Cases was worth waiting for as he was intelligent, warm and understanding.

I left a review on what a rip off Dr Cases is and it did not get posted so why even bother. All I can say if you go to him be prepared to spend tons of money on unnecessary testing with no answers!!!!!

Dr Cases did not listen to one word I told him about my health issues. He sent for an MRI on my spine bone when I thought I was going for nerve damage imaging & did DNA testing I never asked for so he cost me not just hundreds of dollars but thousands for unneeded test & I still have no answers for the problems I went to him for! I would never recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!!

He is a great Dr. His staff at his new location are as bad as the old one. Appointments are scheduled in blocks so you are not seen at the time you think you are, they book 5 patients at the same time. The young male behind the desk has a serious attitude and likes to talk back to patients if he doesn't like what they are saying, instead of explaining things. If i didn't like Dr. cases so much, I would never return there.

In May of 2017 Dr Cases replaced my Medtronics battery for my spinal neurostimulator. He was not the physican that did my original surgery. My original surgeon has moved out of the area. Dr Cases assured me that a Nuvectra battery was perfectly compatible with my Medtronics stimulator, it was newer...better! I work 3 jobs and do not have time for the opiates merry-go-round. The charge with my Medronics battery lasted 30 days and I was able to charge while I slept...perfect for a busy person. The Nuvectra battery charge lasts 3 days, I am unable to charge while I sleep because when my body temp rises it shuts down as a precaution?. I have no time for this piece of garbage! I am in constant pain and I blame Dr Cases for not giving me something compatible with my stimulator!!! I know why he did it though...he must have gotten a HUGE kickback from Nuvectra as my insurance company was billed $56,000 for just the battery!!!! The total charge for this outpatient procedure...well over… $100,000, was more than my original inpatient implantation of the spinal stimulator and battery! I will not go to this greedy physician that places the lining of his pockets above the welfare of the patient!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Cases for several years now. He is fantastic and so is Anthony his PA and his staff. Dr. Cases takes the time to listen to what you have to say and try's to do everything he can to alleviate our pain. He doesn't just try to push meds like most pain doctors will. He try's other techniques. He has helped both my husband and myself with our pain. We have not had to wait more then 30 minutes to see him or Anthony. I would recommend him to everyone.

The front desk staff are rude.

Dr. Cases misdiagnosed me and treated me for Pain Management even though he knew I had a break in my back and needed to see a surgeon to have that situation fixed. He put me through numerous sets of injections he burnt my nerve endings where I had to take off work for eight weeks and ended up in the hospital because the pain was so great and at the end he discharged me as a patient when He found out I went to the surgeon and that he could have gotten in trouble for misdiagnosed me and treating me for the symptoms of my pain but not referring me to a surgeon.
