Dr. Heidi Ann Karon, MD

Dr. Karon failed to inform a person close to me of a sonogram result indicating the potential for cancer. After 2 months, my friend went to another doctor who indicated that Dr. Karon's records did not make sense. Once the new doctor intervened, Dr. K had someone in her office (not the doctor herself!) call the person close to me to give her the now "old" sonogram results, without even noting the delay or explaining what the delay might mean medically for the patient. Everything about this is unethical.

Heidi Karon is a good doctor. She listens well, answers all my questions and has been very helpful in getting the tests that my mother who is also a physician requests for me. One of the doctor's assistants was rude one time, but other than that I have only had a good experience there. You do have to wait several months to get an appointment so it is best to schedule your next appt when you are at the office.

I will miss not have Dr Karon as my doctor.I'm only giving her up because my insurance provider changed and I can no longer see her under my new insurance. I think she has a very pleasant manor. Listens to what you have to say.
