Dr. Heidi Jo Knickerbocker, MD

I had a great experience with Dr. Knickerbocker. She is knowledgeable, personable and professional. The staff is exceptional. Finding Ballard Women's Health was a god-send. I will recommend this practice to all of my friends and co-workers -- it's hard to find that caring, personal approach to health care these days.

I have been a patien of Dr. Knicerbocker for over 15 years. She has delivered my children and helped me through menopause. I would and have recommended her to my friends.She is no longer at the above office, but has a new office in Ballard which is 10 times better than the old one.

Dr. Knickerbocker left her old practice with another doctor, about two years ago, with Dr. Brandon. The new office is focused on all over women's health and gynecology. The customer service is great. She brought over a few people from the old practice and the dead weight stayed behind.I'd started with a mid-wife, but Dr. Knickerbocker ended up delivering my first child (emergency c-section) then delivered my second child (VBAC). It took a bit of work to get her on board with the VBAC -- but after presenting my case and showing her some data I found, she agreed.I'd say her bedside manner is more of a coach than a hand-holder. She's a very competent doctor.
