Dr. Heidi Lisker, MD

She was rude, dismissive, and made incorrect assumptions without asking/letting me explain. The office/exam room didn't feel clean (she didn't wash her hands/use hand sanitizer, wear gloves) before touching me, there was a sink in the exam room that I was told not to use, but instead use hand sanitizer and a tissue to clean my fingers prior to taking my contacts out. I went for a routine exam and contacts fitting and was barely looked at. I wish I could say it was great to be out of there in 15 minutes, but it was absolutely a waste of time and money. I now have to go elsewhere to get the care I need while paying out of pocket due to wasting my one annual visit on her.

I had used Dr. Lisker about 10 years before and liked her. I think she is less attentive now though she did allow me back for an exam since I was dissatisfied. She always has lots of patients in her office which she is multi-tasking with so I don't think that helps.

Dr. Lisker was great with me - I had a terrible eye infection and she treated and cured my infection in the most professional and best of ways - she was always courteous, although firm, with her instructions, her instructions were clear and on occasion she even offered to waive some of my fees in case this was necessary, my visits turned out to be many before my eye was cured. In the end I didn't need the waiver but what a thoughtful sympathetic woman she is. She was patient and caring. On the other hand the staff are friendly but not as professional as may be at other offices but I was willing to overlook this to see Dr Lisker. I sometimes had to wait some time at the office, however, when I was late one time Dr. Lisker still saw me without fuss.

Although the wait time is truly terrible, she is worth every bit of it. Does a thorough exam, listens to your concerns, and is conservative in treatment. Someone from Reston recommended her to me more than 20 years ago. If anything (and despite the large numbers of patients she sees), she has gotten better and better.

I have been going to Dr. Lisker for over 10 years and have been extremely happy with the care she has provided. She has been accurate with diagnosing various conditions and excellent at explaining what was going on to me.

She was very professional and complete on my diagnosis for cataracts as well as the resultant surgery and follow up care. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering this surgery

I had already been to another doctor who had failed to diagnose my probem, and wanted someone with more experience.I called Dr. Lisker's office and explained that I had a potentially serious eye problem. Although they were quite busy, they fitted me in the same day. Dr. Lisker was very helpful, professional, and took all the time she needed to put me at ease, address my problem and make an accurate diagnosis.Great Doctor, I would recommend her to anyone with eye issues!

I am seriously nearsighted and have been seeing Dr. Lisker for many years. I have 100% confidence in her expertise and I trust her completely. Her style is not touchy feely. She knows what she's doing, doesn't play the latest fads, gives it to you straight, and doesn't waste your time or your money trying to sell you services or care you don't need. I think the world of her practice.
