Dr Helen Anaedo, MD

Was referred to her by HMG Dr for an underactive thyroid. I had a goiter and she insisted that the thyroid had to come out and that was the problem. For obvious reasons the thyroid works even less now.

this dr increased my thyroid med and I had terrible symptoms. it took her 4 days to respond to my pleas for help and then she reduced my dosage to less than 1/2 of what it was and when questioned as to her decision to reduce my dosage, she became irate and suggested that I needed psychiatric help! Very unprofessional.

Long wait to get appointment, difficult to get anyone on the phone, consistently misgendered by entire staff, two weeks after bloodwork results available on web portal I still haven't heard from the doctor despite calling every day for a week. Dr. Anaedo seems perfectly competent and is very nice but it's impossible to manage a serious condition in this manner.
