Dr. Helen Christina Brvenik, MD

Dr. Brvenik was my doctor until 01/07/2025. I was pleased with most of her services until 01/07/2025. Please note she does not speak Spanish. I am bilingual and speak both languages fluently. These health care sites for the most part will say that most doctors are bilingual when in reality there not.

Took my 93 year old mother to her for pain. Made my mother climb up on the table to check her heart and did not once try to help her up or down. Spoke to us in a high and mighty attitude. Never called back with blood result or responding to office call for help. Took mom to urgent care for much better treatment.

She always carefully listen her patient and provide maximum attention. she make recommendation to specialists that she know like reliable and knowledgeable. She always quick react by phone if her patients need help.

By far the worse Doctor I have ever seen. She has absolutely no patience. Rushes through questions and makes you feel completely stupid for asking in the first place. Asked for a test and advised of my concerns, was instructed to go else where. THAT I Will!! I am changing providers as a doctor is supposed to work with you not make you feel as though you can't speak to them.

I cannot rate Dr Brevnik as I’ve not seen her. No appointment was available for months, so I saw her nurse practitioner. The visit was ok, but the administrative part is beyond lousy. I was prescribed a medication that needed changing, and it took at lease five phone calls from me to get it fixed. Even then the office didn’t fix it correctly, resulting in another week delay in even getting a return call from them. I had an appointment scheduled with Dr Brevnik, and I needed it to do a pre-op for foot surgery the following week. About 3 weeks prior to the appointment, the office called me and said they needed to reschedule as the doctor would not be in that day. I had to call them back to reschedule, and no one could help me (why???) so I needed to await a call back. They called me 2 weeks later to reschedule. By then I just gave up on them and chose another provider. This medical practice needs to figure out why they are so dismal on follow up. But if this is any indication… of their ability to help when time is of the essence, it bodes very badly for their medical care.

Dr Helen BREVENIK is a blessing to me. Kind, caring, and always wiling to see me. I'm grateful.
