Dr. Helen R Friedman, PhD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Friedman now for over two years through a very dark time in my life. I can honestly say she is compassionate, thoughtful and very easy to talk to even with tough topics. She is like talking to a close friend and I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Friedman is very bright and nationally known in her field. At the same time, she is so down-to-earth and warm! She roots for you when you make progress. She has helped me in every facet of my life with her talent, skill, and training--and her enthusiastic, caring ways!

I first saw a therapist when I was 17 years old, some 40 years ago. I have seen numerous therapists over the years. Recently I developed an almost crippling phobia which Dr. Friedman helped me overcome in four sessions using a variety of techniques. I heartily recommend her to anyone. As a mental health professional myself I know of many far less skilled and compassionate therapists than Dr. Friedman. I don't know many as good as her.
