Dr. Helen Nhan Gray-Schnase, MD

Minus 1 I only saw her twice, and THAT was quite enough! Both times she was rude, dismissive, condescending and quite arrogant. I would NOT recommended this doctor.

Saw Gray twice and on both visits, she was excruciatingly condescending. Her bedside manner is appalling, so glad my family will not have to deal with her again..(at least I hope not!)

I saw Dr. Gray for the first time today after my prior primary care MD retired. I am a very healthy 61 year old female with a degree in nutrition and a career steeped in bioscience. My prior VM doc would refer to me as a 'boring patient' as I am robustly healthy. I spend very little as a health care utilizer since my emphasis is on prevention. After not having had labs done in many years, labs came back with a couple out of range values. I met with Dr. Gray for the first time and she was very dismissive and arrogant. She basically blew them off as a consequence of being 61. I will not see her again. She did not ask what my goals are as a person/patient. She did not appreciate that I wanted to ensure that it not progress with clinical implications. There was ageism and arrogance and no effort to understand the new patient in front of them who sought a collaboration in staying well and minimizing chronic disease.

Dr Gray is rude, condescending and patronizing. I would not recommend. She is not up to par with VM’s good quality doctors!

She seemed. Rey nice as a person but as a doctor I would not recomand her. Did not carefully Reviewed my case and her diagnoses were useless. After visiting her 3 times in 3 months and $700 Decided I will go and see a specialist.

Dr Helen Gray is fantastic, she is thorough and know what she is doing. I will accept anything she says. she will listen to you, and make you very comfortable for you as to what you really want and what you really need..

This group won't see there patient even if they pay cash, they make up a story and contiously say that you owe money and never refill the needed medication.

Dr. Gray allowed the fact that my mother would not wear a mask be the dominant theme of our appointment. We refused the mask because my mother, a tube feeder, is unable to swallow anything - not even her own spit - and therefore must spit her saliva out. Dr. Gray let her assistant get her all riled up about this and, thus, arrived in a huff. Intent on lecturing us on the pathology of bronchitis she failed to adequately exam my mother. Furthermore, we requested a saline solution for a nebulizer to help her get over the bronchitis she was suffering from and it was not prescribed until 16 days later. My mother is now suffering from a secondary infection that could prove to be far more problematic than the original bronchitis. Someone please help this doctor get her priorities and bedside manner up to par.
