Dr. Helen Lee Kuno, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Kuno's for over 7 years for the treatment of pcos. Dr. Kuno is never too busy to respond to a message or take your call - if you have a question. She actually listens and wants to help! She has a great personality and always professional. She goes above and beyond offering tips and advice to help me loose weight! I highly recommend Dr. Kuno.

I was so disappointed...when I left for Fl she said to send my levels every week and she would respond. The first 3 weeks she did and then for the last 8 weeks she did not. I asked the nurse if she was getting my levels, she said yes. I finally called my primary Doc for the help I needed. I came back home saw her once...very cut and dry visit. A few weeks later my levels went into the 300’s, it was a weekend but I called and a nurse practitioner told me to take my long acting insulin from 5 to 10 units. I did not do this! You would think that Dr Kuno would call on Monday she did not call...no one reached out to me.... Three weeks later I wrote and said I will not need her service any more. I would not recommend this Doctor.

Best endocrinologist in town very knowledgeable.She is also friendly, professional and compassionate and makes you feel at ease.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Kuno and her staff including nurse, front desk and the two ladies that collect the lab samples! I would highly recommend her practice to you.

I've been seeing Dr. Kuno for a few years now and have yet to see that she is willing to go beyond sitting at the laptop to try to help with my ongoing condition. She admits that she doesn't do any research on her own and likes to compare her problems with that of the patients during the visit. There is really no compassion nor real concern for finding solutions. It really is a shame that we depend on doctors to help us and yet they draw the line with what they are willing to do or learn.

I've been to 3 Endocrinologists through many years and Dr. Kuno is hands down the finest I've been under the care of. She's compassionate but also clear and to the point, she is caring, very thorough in her treatment plan, and is always prompt with follow-up care. I highly recommend her.
