Dr. Helene Rabena Hubbard, MD

Dr. Hubbard listens, she is genuinely concerned about her patients she prefers old school methods mixed with modern. I travel an hour & 20 minutes for my child's appointments because I believe she's the best.

Dr. Hubbard goes out of her way to help and gives great educated advice. So very helpful!

At first we were so very happy to drive all the way from Pasco County to her office in Bradenton, FL. Mainly because she seemed very caring and this was our first time having our son see a Dr. in her specialty. Then we received notice that she will no longer see him because of his age! 11 yrs is still a child. When we needed her most, she dropped him as a patient. after prescribing him 4 different medications in one year and none of them working (leading him to being depressed). She sent us an email saying due to his age she will no longer be able to see him. At that point I was speechless and we felt used. nothing was accomplished and she gave up on our child, after we took her advise and gave him ever single medication she recommended.

She will never take responsibility of her actions or the actions her staff, Nurse Karen and Nurse Natalie make. Been n her clinic for more than a year but enough is ENOUGH.

Dr Hubbard is a rare find in a doctor these days. She really understood my son, his complex problems, and the treatment he needed. Her report was outstanding and her recommendations were right on target.

we have be going to dr hubbard for years now.she is wonderful .she makes u feel so comfort in her office and is very pleasant .her staff are wonderful .ther are all very understanding and compassionate.

Rate them Very poorly about returning phone calls. They dont answer the phone frequently and seem to never get the message. No after hours calls accepted. I would think when you are prescribing mind altering meds to children they should be able to return a phone call the next day. Finding a new responsible Doctor today.

I was able to get an urgent appointment and could not believe the high level of care I got! I saw Karen and was amazed-someone actually heard what I said and knew what to do about it. The first wait was a while but the follow-up was right on time.

I consider Dr. Hubbard and Nurse Karen MacDougall to be my life savers. They are compassionate and extremely knowledgeable in the areas of behavioral interventions. Before seeing Dr. Hubbard I was overwhelmed and did not know what way to turn in trying to get my daughter the help she needed in dealing with her ADHD/ODD. I travel to see Dr. Hubbard from Riverview, FL which is about a 50 minute drive one way and believe me it is well worth the drive. These two women are the first to be able to help with the issues that I am having with my 8 year old daughter. I have had several issues with my insurance and Dr. Hubbard has worked with me to ensure my daughter gets the medication she needs. If you are looking for a great behavioral therapist look no further because you are not going to find any better. They are patient and will listen to you without making you feel rushed or ignored. I absolutely love and adore both Dr. Hubbard and Nurse Karen and so does my daughter.
