Dr. Hemanshu Rajendra Patel, MD

He saved my husband and my life many times. My husband broke his legs and he wasn’t getting the help he needed to have surgery. For two weeks, the X-rays couldn’t get done because the machines were down and there wasn’t any technicians. The bones in his legs were beginning to heal incorrectly. I called Dr. Patel Friday and he got doctors lined up for Monday to see every doctor he needed for his surgery and was able to get the surgery within that week. I had psoriasis on my leg, very high, blood pressure, and blood sugar and I felt like I was dying. Plus, I was falling asleep at during the day even at work. So I felt like I was going to die and lose my job. That was in July 2025. Now in April 2026, i’m on a CPAP machine my psoriasis has cleared up, my blood sugar A1c went from 10 to 7 and I lost 35 pounds. I have a lot of energy and before I couldn’t walk and I walk all over the place and I’m involved in exercising at the gym and eating healthy. My life is turned around and my… husband who had surgery on his foot is now mostly healed because he gave him antibiotics. He is continuously taking care of us and even took care of skin tags by freezing them off on my husband and making sure that my blood pressure doesn’t go up too high by having me go see the nurse to make sure it’s lower. Even if he has to cancel or it’s hard to see him his staff that I go visit. Take care of me when I didn’t have the medication I needed that a company was too incompetent to get me that his staff made sure I got the medicine I needed for me when I couldn’t get it from the incompetent place (w). I finally got the drug that that place forgot to get me to help my blood pressure. They might not be able to do this for every patient, but I feel like he cares only about me even though he has lots of patients. I feel that I’m the only one because he does such a good job caring about us. I’m afraid if I speak to highly of him, he will be too busy to see me because you’ll have too many patients. However, I need to speak the truth because he is the best and I definitely need him specially in Barstow because there’s so many out there. They’re not as good as him. I know people complain that it’s so hard to see him, but I’m lucky to have him and his staff to take care of us. It’s hard to call though I go in and they take care of what I need done. I do appreciate the whole staff, even if he can’t be my son‘s doctor his nurse practitioner can be so at least he’s in the same building to be taken care of by his staff.

Went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure that I was okay, when he saw changes to my health.

Dr. Patel is a very caring doctor. Takes his time with does not rush at all. Listens to ALL of your concerns and questions you may have.

Dr. Patel is probably got the greatest bedside manner and personality of a doctor that I’ve ever seen

Dr. Patel is very thorough, and most of all, he listens. He never rushes you to get to his next patient. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had a doctor who really cares about your health. But I also want to share my thoughts regarding Mary and Francesca, women at front desk. These women do amazing work, very helpful. Don’t ever let them leave.

Dr. Patel is a great doctor. He explains everything in a manner that you can understand. I’ve never felt hurried when seeing him. He is very thorough and caring.

Dr. Patel values his patients time and is concerned about their overall care and health. I hope he never leaves the Barstow area. He is truly an amazing doctor and love having him as my doctor. I trust and value him in his professional field and will always refer him to everyone in Barstow and at Ft Irwin where I work. Excellent Doctor.

Dr Patel is exceptional in so many ways. He is very knowledgeable He is a good listener. He is calm and caring I’m sure all of his patients sing his praises.. I’m blessed to have him as my physician.

Dr. Patel is a very good Doctor in my opinion and his staff is TOP OF THE LINE, he is very concerned about his patients and their needs. His family would just about have to go to MARS for me to leave his practice, and I just might stowaway to go with him LOL
