Overall this office and dr.s staff is unprofessional. Dr.s knowledge is doubtful and at times wrong.

I was referred to this doctor's office by my OBGYN because I did not a primary care doctor new to the area. My first experience with the staff was very unpleasant they are very rude. I work in ED and I am familiar with verifying insurance. Well I was charged a higher amount for an office visit even though I confirmed with my insurance carrier what my charge should be. I wasn't told how much my charge would be therefore I was not prepared with the correct amount to pay since they only take cash and no credit or debit cards. Had to leave the office and was told I had only a certain amount of time to get back to the office or my schedule office visit would be canceled. Wow needless to say my experience here was not pleasant at all. I later seen Dr. Smith and informed him of why I had not returned to his office, and his reply regarding his staff being rude was WELL......I was at a lost for words. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.....

Staff is extremely rude. Need new office manager and staff. The staff practices medicine without a license. I have worked for doctors before unbelievable this doctor lets this staff run his office and medical career!

Doctor Smith is a wonderful person and a Great Doctor, but his office staff act as if they could care less. They never get back to me when I call with a question and it takes them days to call in a prescription to be filled. Sometimes I even have to call them back days later to remind them...

If I could give this joker no star I would. We have been with him for over a year. Horrible scheduling. He is always busy and doesnt have time for his patients. He even walked out while talking to me and took off to pick his kid from school without saying nothing. He doesnt read the patients records he treats you like a first visit every time. Changing him today.

I have had Doctor Kevin Smith for my primary care doctor for around 5 years now. I have been to many different doctors during my 49 years due to moving ALOT. I have NEVER had a Doctor that was as caring as he is about my health. He is extremely knowledgeable about any problems I have come in to see him about. He actually sits down and spends the time to talk to you too find out what is wrong and what can be done to fix it. He has no problems taking the time to make sure you understand what can be done about the problems. He always has a smile for you when you come in, and you can tell it is genuine. Too make a long story short, he seems to really want to help you, not there just to take your money. If you have the choice of Doctors in the Barstow area, you would be doing yourself a favor by going to Doc Kevin Smith. As to the office staff, If some people I have seen post negative things about them, I have had a very good experience with them. If they cant get to you right away, it is… probably because they have quite a few people to serve and are trying to make sure everyone is taken care of.
