Close to a year since my surgery ... best decision I made was to investigate the resurface alternative. Couldn't be more pleased with the results ... on the table for 90 minutes ... there's Dr. Malchau and then there's everyone else.

Dr Malchau is excellent in what he does and his very knowledgable on current approaches that are effective. My Total hip replacement was a great success. He does not do the direct approach for his own reasons and prefers the old standard approach. Within three months I have been dancing and wearing heels already.

Dr Malchau was thourough, professional, analytical, researched to find best optiobn and approach, instilled confidence while i was extremely anxious, comptant, caring and professional staffgoing for second hip surgery with Dr malchau ..and i travel over an hour to see him
