Dr. Henry Clark Deriso, MD

did not listen to me and told me my two prior spinal fusions were unnecessary. i only went to him because owcp sent me. i will be requesting a second opinion.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Total of 3 visits with him. Dr. Deriso is the most unprofessional "doctor" I have ever met (he came to work in shorts/top, like golfing clothes). He's rude, he's in a hurry to get you in and out to get your money. After my initial visit, which was for my shoulder, he said it was frozen shoulder. I had neck pain to so he sent me for X-rays. I took in my X-rays for him to look at, I saw that he glanced and neglected to look at both of them. I told him my issues with pain and his response was "M'am, you've already told me that 14 times." I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he's old and thought he'd be right to go to, but he's a quack in my opinion. My regular doctor ask me what orthopedic I was seeing, and when I told him, he said "get a 2nd opinion." I ended up telling him what a jerk he is before leaving and telling his nurse (which is too sweet) that I would never come back here again. BIG THUMBS DOWN!!

I went to the appointment with out some one recommend him but wad the only close to me that accept out state workers compensation. He was so fast in rush. I been having pain and my foot swallow for almost 2 months, he didn't listen to what I have to say, told me that will cure by then self, do exercise and be OK.

I would not recommend anyone see this Dr. He does not know what he's doing, Do yourself a favor and do not see him.

I do not recommend this physician whatsoever based on four visits. Each visit was rushed, and I had to wait over 45 minutes to be seen each time. Dr. did not even have the respect to close the door of the examination room. I could hear people talking in the waiting room, so surely they could hear me discussing my ailment. Dr. spent five minutes with me at best and did not even listen to or care about my symptoms and reason for the visit before he formed his opinion. He made me feel like a fool for seeking relief for a severely painful condition. He was rude and used profanity. Both the waiting room and examination room were unclean. The pillow on the examination table had lipstick on it and looked like it had been nibbled on by a rodent. I was referred to this physician by the emergency room of a large local hospital. Unfortunately I walked away from each visit with Dr. Deriso feeling worse than not being treated at all.
