BEST Psychiatrist in South Florida I was diagnosed with bipolar depression 20 years and since then I have been treated by many psychiatrists, including in another countries, with no results at all. Since my first visit to Dr Storper, I started seeing results in my life.... For the first time in my life now, I feel good about myself, and I finally find life enjoyable. He’s not what you call a “sweet” Doctor; he’s the kind of doctor that will find out what your problem is, and will literally fix you! I’ve been very blessed in having him as my doctor. As my husband and my mother say all the time, “ Dr Storper deserves a Nobel Prize in Psychiatry!!!!” They truly see a complete change in my life and in my behavior!! And for better!! I was nervous the first few sessions (I have anxiety) but I have become more comfortable. He has recommended reading material, ways to help me build insight, and now I am working on implementing some tools to manage life better. He takes my feedback on medications and we have been working together together to find what works best for me. Life/work is so much better.

Frequently late for appointments. Does not spend much time with patients. Multi-tasks during appointment - often completing work at his desk, which is 1) rude, and 2) gives the impression he is not listening to the patient. Strongly pushes medication. Don't waste your time if you are interested in talk therapy or learning helpful skills to overcome your issues. However, he would be adequate for someone with a chronic, previously diagnosed condition, who just needs to obtain a regular prescription for medication.

Doctor Storper, is a great doctor and person. He has an incredible ability to make you feel better and to diagnosis you. Great Staff also

He tells you like it is. Very knowledgeable; don't interrupt him, he has years of wisdom that benefits your treatment plan. He thoroughly explains the medication(s) and diagnosis. He spends so much time with you, I was astonished at his bedside manner. Listen to him, what he has to say will overall help you manage what your experiencing.

This doctor its always late and is a bit arrogant. He doesn't really listen and wants to control the entire appointment without actually listening to what you have to say, He is always late and never ever apologizes for his tardiness. They frequently will call to reschedule appointments and later find out it is because he is going to a wedding or vacation!!!

Waiting varies , Dr.Storper is the most accurate diagnostician I've had in 40 years. Word.

Dr. Storper runs on a different clock than the rest of humanity; he was very late and, from what I gather, he is usually very late. He is straightforward to the point of rudeness and does not have much compassion. His office is a mess in general, and smells awful. The only redeeming quality of this office is his staff. Very disappointed.
