Dr Henry Heesang Woo

Dr. Woo had to perform Brain Surgery to repair damage from multiple Aneurysms and prevent another. The fact that I am alive and functioning bears testimony to his skill. I recommend him highly.

He does his surgeries unnecessarily in order to generate money for Northwell. I over heard a conversation of his where his patient had a complication and all he asked about was what time the next surgery was. He isn’t very nice, good at neurosurgery or caring about his patients. With Dr Woo, it’s about money, not people.

Did not need a shunt in head as diagnosed.

Gena Latessa 1 second ago I went to the Cleveland Clinic with an AVM and an aneurysm at which time Dr. Woo was the neuro surgeon at the time. During surgery Dr. Woo damaged my optic nerve which could have been prevented if he just would have taken the time to add additional dye so that he could see what he was doing. What really takes the cake is that when I woke up he told me that I had a stroke and be grateful that I wasn't paralyzed on one side. Later I found out what had actually taken place and all he did was giggle and state that he only did that to one other person. He never showed any remorse and I never received an apology for his mistake or for lying to me about it all. He has not taken responsibility for his actions. Good luck to whomever has him as a doctor.?

Dr. Woo was a most caring and efficient doctor. He answered any questions we had in its entirety and made sure we understood his answers. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Woo saved my life. He operated on me at The Cleveland Clinic. He is compassionate, caring, and confident. My family and I would go back to him in an instant.

Without the knowledge and expertise in this feild that Dr. Woo has, I would not be here.I think he is the BEST and could never thank him and his staff enough for all that they did.I will be eterinally grateful for the rest of my life. Especially the life that Dr. Woo gave me back!!!!!!!!!
