Dr. Herbert E. Gregg, MD

I don’t know about these other reviews, but I’ve been seeing a neurologist for over fifteen years, and I’ve seen a fair few. Dr Gregg is kind, thorough, thoughtful and totally on par with the fancy, high-powered ones I’ve seen in Boston and NYC. If you’re looking for a quality, thorough, and respectful neurologist in our neck of the woods, Dr Greggs is amazing.

I had quite a horrific visit with Dr. Gregg. Most of the time he was unresponsive and stared at his computer. I couldn't figure out whether he was trying to come up with any diagnostic information. I shared a story about possible toxic exposure contributing to my symptoms and he absolutely had no response. By the end of the session, he had not addressed any of the concerns related to why I made my follow-up appointment. Towards the end, he looked at me and stated he did not think I was mentally fit. It was devastating, and I have submitted a complaint to the patient advocacy department at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and also the Vermont Board of Medical Practice. He indicated he was being hostile because I had abused his time and caused him to run over, and that he was trying to end the session long before then, and abruptly got up. He was clearly angry and flustered. I will never step foot in the specialty practice again.

No response to multiple phone calls when inquiring about PET scan results and additional labs to determine if symptoms are early dementia. Messages sent through portal have gone unanswered and this is extremely frustrating. Dr. Gregg became agitated with my family during the last appointment and commented that they were taking up too much of his time And made him late for his next patient.
