MD EPSTEIN IS EXCELLENT BUT IS STAFF MEMBERS ARE THIEFS. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICE THAT YOUR INSURANCE ALREADY COBVERED 100% AND WHEN YOU CALL FOR REFUND THEY SAY THEY GIVE YOU A REFUND AND THEY DONT REFUND YOU YOUR MONEY. GREAT DOCTOR DISHONEST STAFF BE VERY CAREFULL CALL YOUR INSURANCE BEFORE GOING.

Never in my life, I heard of a Dr. office with a MD who take the Hippocratic Oath and is on the OB/GYN board, turn down a patient because of financial problem. A provider that is participating with an insurance company, that provider must follow the contact with that Insurance company and is to only to collect a co-pay/co-ins at the time a service is rendered. You cannot billed a patient for their deductible before the medical insurance process the claim. My friend had scheduled surgery with Dr. Epstien and because she could not pay the deductible before the surgery, they turn her down and say it is a office rule and they know the allowance for the procedure (even though they might know the allowance of a procedure, they cannot fore see the extent of that procedure) and because of that, they should not bill the patient, except for the co-pay/co-insurance. The receptionists are very rude and unprofessional and would give me a chance to explain myself. But I'm pretty sure they heard me… when I say that this matter can be handle in court especially with the all the bad reviews they have because the lady hang the phone up very quickly... I WOULD NOT RECOMMMEND ONE TO THIS OFFICE,

Dr. Epstein performed a mammogram and he touched me inappropriately. A lady was present during the exam but I felt uncomfortable about his technique. He did not have me remove my clothing. He grabbed each of my breasts and groped them. He squeezed one really hard as if he was trying to get breast milk out of it. That is ridiculous. I was surprised to learn that he is on the board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. With all of the degrees that this individual holds he should have known better. His actions are inexcusable.

I would like to share my horrible experience and create an alert of the service of this office. First the receptionist did not have a clue of the requirements of my Insurance meaning I DO need a refer she insisted that I didn't need it. So after waiting an 1hr and 15 minutes (and because I asked). The receptionist informs me that I have to pay up front $226.00. I tried to explain to her that my Specialist copayment is $50.00,she insisted that it was $226.00. So after a while of trying to make her understand and her not giving me a reasonable explanation. She called some other lady who never introduce herself and with a nasty attitude told me that was there office rules that I had to pay that amount. I tried to once again explain and of course it was impossible. How to talk to rude people who don't listen? Not satisfy at all with this situation I proceed to call my Insurance and informed them about the situation. After talking to 2 customer service people of my Insurance they both… informed me that this was wrong that under no circumstances they were suppose to charge me that amount. So I decided to go back to the office and asked to talk to the nasty lady (never found out her name) and TRIED to explain. And question her: Why are you charging me this? This is my 1st visit; You don't even have an idea of what the Doctor is going to tell me and you want to charge a full amount like a procedure was done. I advise her to call the Provider of my insurance (as I was advise) and she totally deny to, she said she didn't have to. I told her as a patient I have my rights, and that what they were doing was not right. That I would definitely report this situation. Her response was: Ok go ahead. Dr. Epstein you might be a good Doctor but what happened to me in your office talks a lot about you. I will make sure to spread the word around. That way this disagreeable experience does not happen to anyone else. Today it was me tomorrow it could be your mother.

I was having problem with my fibroid for a long time. My previous gyno told me it would shrink over a period of time the pain was so severe and was referred to Dr Epstein who recommended removal of the fibroid. Thank God I listen to him. I did my surgery he did a wonderful job I stayed in the hospital 2 days, he glued the outside it was very near I was able to take a shower in 2 days. I went for my check up all is well and his staff r wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone who is suffering with fibroid. He is pleasant and is a goood Dr.

I went to Dr. Epstien with a breast cancer scare. The doctor I was using forgot to order a biospy for me and her office never called me back. when i called them they werevwas rude! A friend referred me Dr. Epstien. He saw me the same day as a new patient. My biospy was ordered while i was in the office for that afternoon. I heard Dr. Epstien on the phone with the hospital fighting to get me in fast. I am so grateful to him and his office. Dr. Epstien is fantastic and a releif from some of the other doctors I have had to deal with.
