Dr. Herman Alberto Nadal-Barreto, MD

Dr. Nadal didn't perform a thorough exam, and most of the appointment was spent just asking me my medical history. I wanted a lab test done and called his office three times and he never even returned my call. I was very disappointed with the care.

I highly recommend Dr Nadal to my family and friends. Dr Nadal is very knowledgeable , takes his time to review labs results and provide education about diagnosis.

I called for an appointment with doctor and advised what type of insurance I had, they confirmed the appoinment. When I got to the doctors office they said they didn't cover my insurance. My insurance company says they are part of their providers. The made me waste my time, for not checking the info prior to giving appoinments. Poor service.

I went to this doctor and he sent me to er and it was the right thing to do because I developed cellulitis and staff infection at same time had I stayed home I wouldn't be here to write this story Dr.Nadal is a good doctor and he doesn't like to order unnecessary prescriptions for our own safety and time waiting for him is never more than 25 minutes and his wife is very kind and helpful they have not charged me a fee and seen me even though its something a specialist should see me for but Dr. Referred me to appropriate Doctor for my medical problems we need more Doctors like Dr.Nadal

Dr. Nadal runs what is perhaps the worst medical practice in the city of Hollywood. He bought the practice from ailing and retiring Dr. Robert Briones, and it has gone downhill in the last years. His office staff is employed of his wife and a family friend who had to get her GED and has no higher education. Each and every member of the staff has such a thick Hispanic accent it's nearly impossible to understand them. His secretary, Mrs. Nadal, overbooks patients and finds any possible way to overcharge patients and squeeze extra money from insurances. Expect to wait at least 45+ minutes to be seen, even if you arrived prior to your appointment. Dr. Nadal has been under investigation for prescribing insane amounts of controlled substances over the years, which now has him terrified to write any prescription, even if it's a simple antibiotic for an infection. He will not call in prescriptions at your pharmacy should you be unable to come in. And when you go in for follow-up… appointments after a hospital visit, he ignores all orders and refuses to prescribe the medication you were discharged with as he was not the one who made the diagnosis. I've dealt with Dr. Nadal and his staff for so many years due to convenient location and the insurance plans he accepts. I am now switching to a new PCP, because it's gotten to the point where I am being billed for medical services, but due to lack of action on his part, I am not receiving any. Very good man, kind hearted and cares. Very poor physician.

Dr. Nadal is a wonderful doctor. He gives you his full attention, takes time to listening and explain procedures and findings. Its easy to get an appointment and the staff is very good and helpful. My experience being Dr. Nadal's patient is has been great, I'm glad I found him.

For once I felt like I was listened to and not rushed.
