Dr Peters explained all options and way ahead on my cancer treatment.

Dr. Peters is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon. I was transferred by ambulance from another hospital to the cancer center where he primarily practices. I'm a healthy father of 4 teenagers with a lovely wife, who ended up being told that I had liver and pancreas tumors in the emergency room of another hospital (thus the transfer). When I arrived Dr. Peters was the doctor/surgeon assigned to my situation. Dr. Peters read the pictures and wasn't convinced after 2 other doctors at the other hospital had confirmed the diagnosis. I was treated for a few days to reduce swelling in my abdomen and put through the MRI once again - he was right. While I didn't get off free and clear (3 surgeries that year) I didn't have cancer, and as a surgeon he's exemplary. Today I'm perfectly healthy, have fully resumed every aspect of my life, and the kids are in college (my scars are also very clean and diminished). I never write reviews about anything online, but this one had to be written. He saved my… life, put me back on track physically, and now it's just a story to tell - my wife brags about him whenever the topic comes up. If you're scared, in a serious health situation, and need someone who knows EXACTLY what they're doing, then you need to see him, he's your best chance.

As soon as you walk in the door you realize how professional and accommodating the staff is. Dr Peters is a compassionate, professional and skilled physician of the first order of magnitude. I am accustomed to surgeons having the ego the size of a fighter pilots. While extremely talented and well-versed in his field, Dr Peters is down to earth and he has a special ability to relate to his patients on a deeply personal level. He's a great guy.
