Hernan Lopez Morra, MD

I had a 9:15 am appointment and never saw Lopez. I was outsourced to this office from BAMC since I'm retired military (disabled veteran). As instructed I arrived 15 minutes early then waited in an examination room until 11am. I asked why I hadn't been seen yet (over 2 hours) and the receptionist went to check but when I came back from the bathroom he was coming out of a room with a white patient. She got there 20 minutes after I arrived so her appointment was after mine but white has its privileges. I don't expect to be seen first or in front of any other patient because I'm a veteran but I expect to be seen in order. There is no excuse for any patient to wait over 2 hours for a consult. This is most disrespectful which, is why I won't call Lopez doctor because doctors are professionals, practice medicine, and good patient care not racism!

Dr. Lopez Morra is an excellent doctor. After seeing three previous gastroenterologists and three previous colonoscopies, he finally found why I was so sick to my stomach: I had colon cancer.
