Summary
I grew up in suburban Philadelphia, and did all my education along the East Coast. When we were looking for a great place to live, my wife and I chose Seattle to be closer to her family. We have a daughter and a son, both now young adults, who are figuring out life. They see the world with a mature bi-racial perspective since my wife is Chinese. I chose medicine because I wanted to turn my interest in chemistry into practical ways to serve people, especially those who were most needy. I help lead our clinic, teach medical students in my office, and mentor young adults through my local church.
