This man saved my daughter's life if 1993. She was 4 days old with transposition of the arteries along with a bunch of other problems associated with this. Doctors could not close her chest for 7 days. Dr. Laks and his team were so understanding. She is now 30 years old with no issues with her heart. Thank you.

We chose Dr Laks to perform our 6 month old's TET repair back in 2015. He was so kind, soft-spoken, patient, and an expert, skilled surgeon. Our daughter was a candidate for a sub mammary (horizontal) incision, which was a more difficult recovery, but in the end, I am glad we chose that for her. He came by every day to check on her. Dr. Laks performed open heart surgery on my daughter when she was only four months old at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, MO in 1977. She is 38 now with three children of her own. He saved her life at the same time bringing comfort to my wife & I.
