I typically saw a different doctor at Piedmont Physicians in Town Lake , but she transferred to a different location that was inconvenient for me. It was my first time seeing Dr. Kadiyala at this location. I scheduled the appointment for frequent headaches I was getting. She said it sounded like tension headaches and prescribed me Fioricet, which I now know to be an addictive last resort for treating headaches. She told me it was acetaminophen, caffeine and "another drug", and the three of them worked together to alleviate headaches. Little did I know the other drug was Butalbital. She did not ask me if I was trying to conceive or if I drank alcohol. This drug can cause dependency issues in unborn babies and if mixed with alcohol it can lead to comas or death. She prescribed me 30 pills and told me to start with this and scheduled follow up appointment for June. I did not fill the prescription and I cancelled my follow up appointment.

Dr. Kadiyala spends time with you, listens well, has excellent beside manner, show compassion, keeps things easy and simple, doesn't order unnecessary tests but deliver top notch care. She's terrific!

Had a very good experience with this doctor. Spent good enough time in evaluating and thouroughly explained the diagnosis of my illness and took extra efforts in my care. I would strongly recommend her to people who go to Newton hospital for their care.
