Dr, Arar operated on me for cataract surgery. He did not see scar tissue in the eye, nor was it detected in the exam prior to the surgery. My vision did not improve, and after I complained, Dr Arar examined me again . and said he saw scar tissue, ad referred me to a Dr Miller who confirmed the diagnosis .Additional surgery would b e required, even after I spent $2,950.00 on a Restor lens.

Dr. Arar is a straight forward person. He took time to explain the procedure and answered my questions. He is very prompt and was ahead of schedule whenever I saw him. I am now able to see details that I've never seen. I'm also able to drive at night in wet weather with no glasses. I haven't done that in nearly 10 years.

My experience with Doc Arar is very very good! My one concern is with directives that are needed for the ongoing weeks that follow! I Understand the eye drops-schedule and was glad to receive the calendar for the first 4weeks and when to administer the drops! I was not told about the time I should return to washing my hair! The directive said that Doc Arar would tell me! I understand the concerns because of the nearness of the eyes! So I waited until 3weeks and then said “I cannot stand this dirty hair any longer! So Iwashed my hair with my eyes closed the entire time! The staff and assistants are very good and fun to listen to and talk to! THANKYOU for you help and being able to see better! Dr. Arar is a great doctor and an even better guy. Very knowledgeable and easy to get along with definitely recommend Dr. Arar to anyone that needs to get prescription glasses.

My wife went to Dr. Arar for cataract surgery. Everything went well, so I signed up with him in 2016 for a diabetic neuropathy exam. He was very thorough. I will be seeing him again this year (2017).
