Dr. Hoainu Thi Vo, MD

I saw Dr. Vo at Dr. Sharon Stotsky's office in Wilmington, MA, and I was extremely displeased. She prescribed me ear drops instead of eye drops for conjunctivitis. (I was very lucky my pharmacist caught the mistake.) When I called the office to place a complaint, Dr. Vo returned my call and did not apologize for her mistake. She was dismissive about the entire mishap. It's rare I write a negative review for anything or anyone, but I hope to save someone the same pain and aggravation I experienced.

I think this doctor is dangerous. She recently joined a new office (why?) in Wilmington. I went to see her for a long-standing issue that has not been able to be resolved. She treated me like a child (I am an intelligent woman in my 50's) and dismissed EVERYTHING I said. She argued with everything I said. She downplayed my symptoms. Now, I don't go to the doctor unless I am dying and I have not been to the office for over 7 months so I am not a frequent flyer so there was not reason for her to not take me seriously. She tried to prescribe sleeping pills and narcotics instead of finding out why I was having serious pain. Now I have to spend time finding another doctor before I die of whatever ailment I have. I might just go to the emergency departemnt. Patient beware.
