Dr. Holger Kranich, MD

This man should not be in health care. I was assigned a primary care physician through Oscar. I had not been to a doctor in several years and so my primary care physician was going to have to start me over as a new patient and the appointment would not have been for a year. When I went to the doctors office they had me go back, get weighed, then blood pressure etc and then the nurse took in all of my medical info, medication etc. A few moments later the Doctor comes in, no smile, no pleasantries, cold and unfriendly. I figured he would warm up so I just smiled and introduced myself. He said “why are you here”, I said for a normal check up, he then said “you picked the wrong doctor”, I said why? He then told me he is a geriatric doctor and only sees older people. I explained to him that I was assigned him from the people at Oscar or Honor health, I didn’t know. He moved this rolling desk in front of me and between me and the door to a very small room. It was strange and gave me… pause. That on top of his demeanor was starting to make me very uncomfortable. He then said are you on medication, he was looking at my chart and I said, well yes and I just told the nurse and then I went through the list again. He said “Im not going to prescribe you any of that”. I said, I hadn’t asked you I was just answering your question. He proceeded to make me feel more and more uncomfortable so I stood up and left. I reported this to my insurance and they have done nothing about it. If you or someone you love is assigned to this doctor, run in the other direction. He is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, HATEFUL, COLD, AN AWFUL AWFUL MAN.

This Cigna takes 3-4 weeks to see dr kranich. So if you really sick you will probably be referred to er . Which makes Cigna more money than a eproutine doctor visit. This doctors patient beside manner has deteriorate similar to that of his senior staff doctor Bennett who is a condescending bad be side manner superior , whom I refuse to see if I was dying
