Dr. Hollis Thames Rogers III, MD

Dr. Rogers is the kindest doctor! Even though I'm sure he was busy, he made me feel like I was the only patient that mattered. He answered by questions thoroughly and was very approachable. His nursing staff is fantastic, just the kindest people!

I absolutely dreaded having to see this man. I would have an appointment set for say, 2:00 and I would spend an hour in the waiting room, then an hour or more in patient room. He would talk to me for about 5 minutes (not even giving me a chance to ask questions) and out the door I went! There was nothing thorough about anything he did. Even on the day of my surgery, he was 45 minutes late getting there and did not stay after I woke to make sure I was doing fine. I had that surgery three years ago and I am already having the problems again, and my bowels haven't felt the same since. My primary care doctor tried to refer me back to him and I just ignored their calls. I'd sooner drive to Tulsa for my appointments than go back here.

Left my mom to die after she became septic from his careless mistake. Never owned up to his mistake and thank goodness there were other caring doctors around to help. After being in icu and in a coma for 3 months she got to come home. Never has been the same and is back not able to eat. Go see another doctor!!

I had to have a rather large polyp removed that required surgery. Dr. had excellent bedside manners and neat cuts. Healed easily.

Dr. Rogers is one of my favorite doctors.

Dr. Rogers has been a great Doctor. After seeing 2 other surgeons he found my issues, immediately scheduled surgery, and got me well. The office was not as clear on after surgery protocol, but I guess if they tell you how you would really feel after surgery you might not go through!! Ha They should be more informative! However I am feeling better and glad I chose a Colon-rectal surgeon that knew what he was doing!!

The first surgeon I've had that didn't even bother to talk to me after surgery. I found him to be inexperienced with the specific condition I have.

I have rectocele , My second child messed me up, but Of course definitely worse. I have an idea about the surgery he's going to do ...but has anyone had the surgery done by him that he could tell me anything about it Ivideos but I would like personal at personal experience that this surgery and surgeon - thank you

He's not a good doctor

When he makes mistakes he does not own up to them, he really likes the phrase "etiology undetermined" in his vague often incoherent notes. He has anger issues and has no problem taking his frustrations out on his patients and staff. Most of the Hospital staff dread contacting Dr Rogers and this leads to the patients experiencing un due stress and prolonged suffering. If you love your self and family do not allow this Dr to operate under any circumstances except maybe life threatening. Get 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions before using this Dr. I have had 3 different surgeons say they will not see my spouse because they have been operated on by this man, in their words " Send them back to Dr Rogers, this is his mess and I want no part of it"
