Dr. Wayne Arnold Hudec, MD

Have seen Dr. Hudec twice. Both times were miserable mistakes. First time called me "little lady" in a very condescending tone. Said my ulcer was from NSAID abuse when I don't even take any. This time I had to wait 10 days in pain to get results from procedure only to be told there's "nothing" wrong, when if fact there was. Pretty much said it was all in my head! He's not interested unless it's something that he can cut.

I went into hudecs office with a hernia below my navel. The hernia itself was protruding and very obvious. I was given an exam and an appointment to come back for repair surgery. The day of my first surgery, Hudec was acting very odd (as though he were high off marijuana) he was talking very softly,smileing and laughing alot. I shrugged it off as him having a quirky personality. He told my wife and I that He would meet with us after the surgery to let us know if he had to use a mesh and answer any questions we might have. After the surgery he disappeared. We had no idea what went on during surgery or if he had used a mesh. A month after the surgery the bulge was still there so I went back to Dr. Hudec. To my shock and surprise he told us that he didn't even repair it! Apparently he had "repaired" a hernia above my navel that I didn't even know existed and said that he "must have missed" the one that was so obviously bulging and causing me ALOT of pain! So to break it down he "didn't… see" the hernia that I came in for and "repaired" one that wasent bulging or causing pain. I honestly don't even think there was one above my navel in the first place. Needless say they made another appointment to repair the hernia that Dr. Hudec "missed". I went in for surgery soon after. It has been almost three months since that last surgery and I am experiencing constant sharp pains in my abdomen where the surgery was done and there still appears to be a bulge. Dr. Hudec didn't do a good job. I followed all the post-op rules so I know this isn't my fault.I need to go back in but will be going to different doctor this time. I would not refer anyone to Dr. Hudecs office. I am in constant pain because of the quack!

He saw me in the hospital and after months of one doctor after another telling me they didn't know why I hurt so bad and why I kept throwing up, he saw me and within 5 minutes diagnosed me as having gall bladder problems. He did surgery the next day and I have never had a problem since. The man is awesome!

I would NOT let this person operate on my worst enemy! I was having a procedure done to which Hudec was assigned. I had never met Hudec, after introducing himself, he proceeded to ask me questions. I gave him honest answers and in return, Hudec turn an starred at me and said, " YOU EXPECT ME TO HELP YOU, WHEN YOU WON'T EVEN HELP YOURSELF ?" Hudec was rude, unprofessional, and opinionated. I did NOT let Hudec do the procedure. I did NOT feel safe. Doctors ARE there to help us, that's what we pay them for. Hudec needs to retake the class on bedside manner and an anger management class might be helpful. There is not a rating low enough for Hudec.

I love Dr. Hudecs personality and he done an *excellent* job on my stomach surgery! He was great about explaining my condition & the surgery. If you need a general surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Hudec!

I would highly recommend Dr. Hudec to anyone needing surgery. He has such a confidence about his knowledge which puts the patient & spouse immediately at ease. I had to have a fistula put in for dialysis. The following week, I had to have a mammogram for kidney transplant testing and they found 2 spots on my breast that needed to be removed ASAP. We immediately asked for Dr. Hudec to be called in. We again had the same great experience with him. Thank God for directing us to Dr. Wayne Hudec.

I thought Dr Hudec was extremely professional and he had a lovely bed side manner and treated my young daughter with patience and ease.
