Holly Michell Buchko Gruwell, MSN, ANP

Holly is a Nurse Practitioner at Coast Dermatology Medical Associates. She is from Canyon Lake, Texas and received her first nursing degree from the University of Texas, Medical Branch. Holly began her nursing career in the Neonatal ICU in Austin, Texas, and then traveled around the US as a travel nurse in the Neonatal ICU. Eventually she landed at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and decided Los Angeles was a tolerable place to live, but a sunset stroll one evening in Hermosa Beach changed her life. Holly soon made Hermosa Beach her home. After a few months of living in the South Bay she returned to school at California State University, Long Beach where she attained her master's degree in nursing, as well a certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Holly's earliest friend in Los Angeles was a wonderful dermatologist, who introduced her to dermatology, and also trained her for an exciting new career. After graduating with her Nurse Practitioner degree, Holly began working in …private practice in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, California. The experience gained at this internationally renowned medical and cosmetic practice helped to develop Holly's expertise in medical as well as cosmetic dermatology. She further refined her skills in cosmetic dermatology, focusing specifically on Botox and fillers. She joined Coast Dermatology Medical Associates in May of 2015. Holly found her perfect fit at Coast Dermatology where she now assimilates her artistic cosmetic practice with her true passion for medical dermatology. The ultimate testament to her skill and charisma is that many of her loyal patients have followed her from all throughout Los Angeles, and now visit her in Torrance.
