Dr. Holly Rae Kricher, MD

Sudden sarcasm-filled termination by Dr Kricher lead to termination of group therapy b/c I no longer had 1:1 therapist. I was left with no referrals, either. All events occurring after 2, month-long hospital stays for depression. Needless to say, I lost trust in myself and others-- I just wish Dr Kricher could have let me know earlier that she stopped caring. I do now understand why, maybe, she stopped wanting to treat me (I wouldn't have treated me either, in retrospect!)... but, back then, I naively believed her many promises of 'not walking away.'...I understand, now, that circumstances and ppl change... so do their promises I've had much difficulty coping with no termination sessions; hence many reviews written to try to communicate issues with Dr. H.Kricher. I will be writing no more. Don't want to bother any1 plus all good, ...

I owe everyone most especially Dr Kricher apologies. I see now the difficulty in trying to treat someone who has unrealistic expectations as far as time spent along w/worsening symptoms resulting from the patient’s dishonesty. My emotions are each a vinyl record that I’ve tried to lie my way thru to repackage shiny&new. But, they all have deep scratches that make them impossible to listen thru to the end—somehow I should’ve done more of the decoding not ‘repacking’via lies&meds. It is very childish of me to ‘demand ‘that time from a person! Something I was doing more of vs ‘listening myself! I had very unrealistic expectations of promises too—sometimes they must be broken, plain and simple.

I think I grew too predictable for Dr Kricher and she got bored. After years she terminated me suddenly, without sessions to prepare for the transition, and cruelly --using sarcasm and condescending manner.

Although Dr Kricher works well in most cases, in my opinion she does not know much about working with patients that have addiction issues. Most health care professionals in my experience subconsciously judge addicts negatively at the very least--Kricher is no different : she gets angry if you use; limits your therapy; refers you to someone else; and quite frankly, no longer gives you the freedom of choices or having a voice anymore. Almost as if once someone uses they no longer know what they might need to stop using or getting back on track! In effect, addicts, at least in my case, are suddenly stupid and bad. Dr. Kricher thinks herself as compassionate to users, but actually, I felt just the opposite.
