Dr. Honora Elizabeth Kennedy, MD

Have been seeing Dr. Kennedy since the early 1980's. Always taking my care into account and after surgery on both eyes I can only say she knows how to care for my eyes. Thanks.

I have been seeing this Dr for over 20 years. I have seen some negative reviews about her but this is my experience: She is a very fine ophthalmologist. Very professional, completely empathetic to her patients but tells you the facts and the truth as she see it. If you don't want to hear her professional opinion that's on you not her.

Clinic and Kennedy both unprofessional and not treat people with any empathy or skill.

Because I asked too many questions, Dr. Kennedy refused to conduct my surgery. She would not listen to urgent appeals to move forward and she canceled one working day before the long scheduled surgery. I simply wanted to know the pros and cons of being near or far sighted after the surgery or each eye being different. She mixed up which eye was to be operated on and also which eye was to receive drops.

Dr. Kennedy refused to conduct my cataract surgery because I asked too many questions. She also mixed up which eye to do surgery and which eye to put drops. Staff could not inset IV after two tries and left large bruises, though never a problem before. Also were rough in the surgery room.

Just what you want in a doctor. A professional who takes the time to be kind to her patient.

I felt like a number in this clinic. Long wait for the doctor once I got in the exam room. Could hear unprofessional staff conversations while waiting. I'm not going back.

Forgot it always takes over 2 hours to see Dr. Kennedy! Too many patients

My wife and I both ended up in her office together. I felt Hornora treated us like childern. She kept saying you kids. We are 63. She talked down to us. When I questioned her about getting a 2nd pair of reading glasses she abruptly, bording rude, stated that the new perscription would fix any problems I might have, being that my current perscription was 20/40 and the new would correct to 20/20. I was puzzled by that because I didn't think my reading vision was that poor but assumed the 20/20 refered to reading. When I was later fitted for glasses I was told the Sphere change from +1.25 to +1.75 was an improvement for distance. The ADD +2.5 was for reading and had not changed so I'm a tad confused. My wife has a 2nd pair, cumptur/reading for work, and she says they are much better, for that purpose than her normal progressives. So I got both progressives and a 2nd computer/reading pair. So when I get them we shall see if Honora is right, the sphere +1.75 fixing my adjusting my book… alot when reading, buying a 2nd pair of reading/computer is a waste of money or the 2nd pair, as my wife stated, is much better or that specific purpose.
