Dr. Hope Kathryn Barkhurst, MD

We (my family and I) absolutely love Dr. Barkhurst! The most caring, humble, understanding, and patient lady you’ll ever meet. There’s a reason why she’s got people lined out the door trying to get into her practice! She’s incredible. We are thankful we have been able to avoid our local hospital for as long as we’ve lived in Cortez.

She is an amazingly caring doctor! She is good at finding out the problems even if she does not have an immediate answer, she will research it until she does! She makes sure you tell her all your questions and tiniest concerns and then gives you a peace of mind. The staff is also very knowledgeable, caring and down-to-earth.

Dr Hope Barkhurst is a very caring Dr. When we found out my son had CF, she didnt know to much about it but she researched and found out alot of information about how to treat him and if she wasnt sure she called his Dr's up in Denver at the Childrens Hospital. She has been very good to me and my children.
