Dr. Hope S Langer, MD

This woman is so rude and nasty she has NO bedside manner .She was so aweful that my hubby and I decided if she was on duty when we went into labor that we would go to a different hospital rather than deal with this woman. My biggest regret was going to west side care to have my baby .

Hope Langer spent as much time as I needed and was quick to make a follow up call to make sure that I had gotten the results of an x-ray.

I just came from seeing Dr. Langer for the first time for an annual. She was lovely, very personable, thorough with her explanations and questions, gentle and efficient with her examination. The nurse who assisted with me was equally very nice. The office was welcoming and the front desk staff were good. I will definitely be returning.

I went to Dr Langer early this year and had a postive experience.The wait was EXTREMELY short. I adore that especially in NYC. She prescribed birth control and was very informative. I didn't feel rushed or as though she was incompetent. Again, I just had basic GYN check up..so I would recommend her for that.

Dr Langer is one doctors in the practice I attend. She is the worst when it comes to bedside manners of all the doctors in the practice. I was really hoping she was not going to be the physician on call the night I delivered but she was. She is not mean just disorganized and sort of insensitive. I never felt like she listened to me and was always in a hurry to move onto what ever was on her mind while she was with me. She's all over the place when she;s in the room with you and is never conscientious of preserving your privacy - she'll speak to you while you're undressed and she is comfortably seated - no draping nothing. And she opens the door without thinking what sort of state of undress you're in.

This woman made our hospiol delivery a nightmare. She delivered out son and he is healthy but more or less forced my wife into a panic situation ending in a very painful C section. Avoid her at any cost.

Dr. Lsanger was my ob during my last pregnancy. She made me feel at ease and she is calm and cool when handling emergencies.The same can also be said about the other 3 doctors at this practice.
