Although he is only supervising the residents and oversee their plans, it is clear that he is very through and extremely knowledgeable. He teaches the residents how to examine the body and go over finer points of medical facts with them. A great teacher and a good man all around, it seems. Grateful that he is the supervisor of my medical care.

Both Dr.Akhondi and Dr.Deilamy were very professional and thorough. It was one of the most complete examinations that I have ever been through. Dr. Akhondi answered all of my questions, and assured me that my problem was curable. My wife and I both thank the Doctors for all of the time they took with me. I really appreciate of Dr Akhondi and his team , They are professional group .

I was in Maryland a few years ago and had chronic abdominal pain that could not be diagnosed with anything. Was admitted to many hospitals multiple times and no diagnosis. I was lucky to have him as my hospitalist one time and he diagnosed me with a rare disease named porphyria. He send tests and sure enough that was it!! I was so so excited to have a diagnosis finally. He started me on medicines in my veins and soon the pain was much better and under control. It is not a disease that can be cured but at least I know what it is now and I have it under control. Excellent job!!
