Dr. Hossein Habibi, MD

Dr Hossein Habibi is a highly qualified Urologist who performed an ultrasound biopsy on me in his office. it was totally painless operation pulling more than 10 tissue samples from either side of my prostate. Very friendly doctor giving me detailed information about the function of the prostate and an ultrasound picture of my own after the operation. I recommend him very highly specially with his decades of practice and recommended to me by my insurance Anthem/Caremore. The negativity by some individuals and their ratings had zero effect on me. The facts that numerous hospitals and insurance co are associated with him are ample proof of his talent and experience in the medical field. He s a no nonsense doctor that tells it like it is whether you d like to hear it or not. He s the doctor and you're only a patient not an arm chair doctor, don't even try to tell him what test to order etc etc etc.. His staff was also super friendly giving me a call to remind me of my appointment and of… taking my medication. Thank you Anthem/caremore for sending me to Dr Habibi (aka Dr Love). It's very much appreciated

Don't waste your time with this doctor. I don't know why he is still in business. He does not have any ethic in treating patients. I took my Dad to his office twice. The 1st time to have a urinary catheter taken out and the 2nd time to have him check my dad's prostate problem and the inserted catheter. He did not check or evaluated my dad when he took out the catheter the 1st time. As a result, I had to take my dad back to ER because he could not pee at home after the doctor visit. At the 2nd visit (due to bleeding after the 2nd catheter insertion), he did not even look at my dad or do anything. Before the appointment, we called his office to request him to review my dad's prostate X-RAY result which was taken at the ER/hospital. He did not do it and said he did not want to do it. However, he wanted to order another blood test and X-RAY procedure for my dad. Any questions I asked about my dad's prostate treatments, he rudely replied with a don't-care attitude either with "what for? or… does my dad have a choice?" I really disappointed with this doctor! Don't waste your time with him. There are a lot more good urologist out there. Just need to do research before you choose a good one.

Originally I was overwhelmed with negative feelings after the visit... now a steam is out a bit and I think that dr. Habibi just doesn't deserve my time writing this ... Originally I was aware of dr. Habibi's extremely low ratings, but wanted to give him a chance since he claims to be a specialist in the area of problems I'm facing, It was a very wrong decision! He is very ignorant, rude and would dismiss any symptoms you have as insignificant. For example, for him a foamy urine or atypical cytology isn't a problem at all, even an obvious lesion on MRI isn't a concern, as well as a palpable abnormality. Dr. Habibi honestly has no clue in anatomy (found corporal body in wrong place), and is just a living difficulty to deal with. As if it just isn't enough, Dr. Habibi might plainly refuse to treat you, like he did to me. Please don't waste your time and hopes visiting him!

I was really disappointed today after leaving this doctors office after having high hopes as to getting a surgery date. All he talked about was how crappy my insurance was and his words exactly "doctors want to get paid" nothing related to the surgery no surgery date, he was rushing us out of his office, i would never recommend this doctor. He did not explain as to how the surgery will go or any follow up treatment. The entire visit was about money and insurance.
