Summary
Jolene spent the first ten years as the only occupational therapist in Oregon specialized in the treatment of burn victims. She helped found the Burn Concern Support Group for burn survivors, one of the only such groups in the nation that has continued since it began close to 30 years ago. She has consistently maintained a devotion to burns. Her personal interests nicely coincide with her professional interests: international travel and understanding the cross-cultural aspects of recovery after an illness/injury.
