Was born April 16th, 1972 in Eugene, Oregon and grew up in Bandon. He graduated suma cum laude from Oregon State University in Corvallis with a B.S. in biochemistry and biophysics in 1996. He attended medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland and finished in 2000. He then traveled across the country to Washington D.C. to complete his training in pediatrics at
Children's National Medical Center in 2003. Dr. Yost was delighted to return to
Coos County after finishing his residency.
He enjoys most outdoor activities, including running, biking, skiing, hiking and camping. He is also learning to play guitar.
