Top Doc.. he's the best !!!

Cdiff anyone? Final straw for my wife after 5 months in that place.

I have been a patient of Dr Howard Eisen for over ten years. I haven't needed a heart transplant yet because of an early diagnosis and the good sense to follow his recommendations. Some of these decisions weren't easy to make, but were mandatory. Yes, I had to quit smoking if I was ever going to be considered for a transplant at the doctor's request but that was a hard thing to get through, but I did it. I haven't smoked in 4 years now and my eating habits also changed dramatically at Dr Eisen's suggestion. As a result, I am still eluding the need for another heart, I can still walk a mile to Center City from my home with an extremely stringent ejection fraction and a pacemaker-defibrillator. Suffice it to say, Dr Eisen handles cardiac patients in all levels of congestive heart failure. If things aren't going well for you as his patient, I'd be inclined to believe you're just not listening to him the way that you should.

This man is brilliant. Saved my life.

Dr. Eisen is an awesome cardiologist and I trust him completely.

On May 3, 1995 I had a heart transplant. I was in pretty bad shape before the transplant and only had short time to live without a heart transplant. Dr. Howard J. Eisen was the head of the team that transplanted me. Dr, Eisen and his staff took the very best care of me that anyone could before and after my heart transplant. It was not easy for them or me but together we did it. Dr. Eisen is not only a wonderful caring Doctor but a wonderful man. I thank God for great Doctors like Dr. Eisen or I would not be here telling you this. Been now transplanted 18 years . Thank God, Dr. Eisen and staff for my extra years of life.

One would think at a teaching hospital this Doctor would eventually teach something. Not the case. He uses residents as scut monkeys. Retire already!

Very caring. Has taken me from near death to a normal functioning life. What ever negative Dr. Eisen has is more than made up for his committment and expertise int treating congestive heart failure

My husband was a pt. of Dr. Eisen for over 24 yrs. and he is now deceased but I can't give enough praise to him as a physian. He was always on top of my husbands medical issues that were complicated and was more like a true friend. Unfortunally, my husbands cardiac status was not his reason for death but Dr Eisen was there through out more than 40 admissions that were related to his heart. I would recommend him to anyone, and he not only treated my husband but always gave him and I the time that we needed to get through the roughest and most challenging times of our lives. Hahnemann Hospital is "Dr.Howard Eisen".He and his staff are the best.
