Dr. Howard Chaim G Frydman, MD

I consulted Dr. Frydman about a koenke deny stone. While I did not end up needing a procedure, I would highly recommend based on my personal encounters with Dr. Frydman. I also know several professionals who have worked with him in surgery and say he is an amazing surgeon with tons of experience. He has a really funny sense of humor taboos! If I ever need surgery requiring his type of experience and skill-set, Dr. Frydman will be my first choice.

Rude unprofessional incompetent Dr.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. About a month ago, my family member was referred to him by our PCP. After a virtual consult, Frydman wanted to do some imaging. Because of COVID, his office was closed for the time being. We asked to get the tests done somewhere else but they insisted we wait a few weeks to do them in their office when they reopen. Because of our insurance, we waited... After doing the in-office tests, they put him on antibiotics for 10 days and said to contact them if nothing changes. Nothing got better. So we contacted the doctor... who told us to FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. What!? I've never heard of a doctor quit so easily on a patient. Long story short, we ended up in the ER yesterday because the pain was so bad. After an ultrasound of his bladder (which Frydman did in his office by the way... and said there was nothing wrong), the ER doctors quickly found the issue. He will be having surgery to fix it. When we told the ER docs about Frydman, they were SHOCKED. They said… this is a very common issue and should have been caught easily. Look, I'm not the kind of person who goes around the internet writing bad reviews about businesses or people. I'm writing this as a service to patients in hopes that they read it and simply find another doctor. If I could give Howard Frydman 0 stars I would. Definitely letting our PCP know and hopefully, he won't refer people to Frydman anymore. Bottom line: Howard C Frydman is a bad doctor. Avoid if you can.

I had to call 4 times over 30 days to get lab results. You get a different answer depending on who you talk to. The first 3 times I called, Nancy said, "the doctor will call you back after they contact Quest Diagnostic for the results. The 4th time I called, Lisa said, "we got the results 3 weeks ago." Nurse Mandy said, "we told you the results. " Dr. Frydman said, "you have HMO and I have a lot of patients...i don't remember what I did yesterday. "

Horrible from beginning to end. Late for my app’t, had to coax him back into examining room to answer my questions. Arrogant, unkind, and talked over me. Was unable to diagnose my kidney stone, until I passed it at home. Unable to listen. Learn to read your patients! However, he will tell you he’s been practicing for forty years. Well I can tell you a lot has been lost during those 40 yrs.

He spent less than 5 minutes with me, explained nothing and had zero follow up after diagnosing me with several kidney stones. His office staff is also completely incompetent.

Dr Frydman couldn't have been a better pick by my daughter's Dr. I was visiting and had a UTI. I only wish I was referred to him sooner. He was very thorough and very attentive to my ailments. It was actually "fun" to go to the appts as he has an excellent sense of humor. I continue to have problems but I believe it's not re: his area of study. Front desk person could be friendlier! He did advise me for a follow up to Mayo Clinic after I returned home.
