Dr. Howard Victor Katz, MD

at 62 years old and I have never broken anything. Dr. Katz has a warm and friendly manor and made a point to explain things to me thoroughly. I would highly recommend him to someone in need of orthopedic care.

I saw this guy as part of an insurance carrier's required "independent medical exam" for a workers compensation case. I brought to his attention the possibility of thoracic outlet syndrome as mentioned by one of my doctors and 6 times within a 5.5 min exam symptoms of pain and weakness in my arm and hand. He didn't include any of it in his report. He wrote that specific sites of injury along my spine were "resolved or resolving" without having touched me. Shortly after another doctor ordered MRIs and an EMG it turns out I had 3 herniated discs, multiple bulging discs, a torn shoulder joint and a brachial plexus injury. Thanks to his report its taking even longer to resolve my case. NOT recommended.

After two chaotic office visits I couldn't take it anymore. The billing was a suspect! I found another orthepedic group.

I don't know what I'd do without this Dr. when I was in a car accident he helped save my leg.

have seen him 2 times rushed in and out did not even spend 7 minutes with me even if I was putting the visits together!!!!!

there is no other doctor i would see in the event i broke another bone!
