My daughter likes Dr. Klapman very much, but on the phone, Barbara, his office manager, gets easily annoyed, upset, sarcastic and mean.

Dr. Klapman is a wonderful doctor. I am a teenage patient of his and he has helped me a lot. I found him through the Lutheran General Psychiatric Hospital. His assistant, Barbra is very kind. There are always snacks. Dr. Klapman offered a myriad of treatment options until we found what worked. He also is very interested in getting to know his patients well.

He is a wonderful man and even a better doctor. Could not recommend him more. Be prepared to have to wait awhile, as he is late pretty frequently, but this is not a deal breaker.

My daughter likes Dr. Kalpman. However, on the phone, his office administrator gets easily upset and rude. I called there to let them know they had sent me the wrong prescription for my daughter and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, she yelled that everyone makes mistakes and hung up on me. If my daughter didn't really like him I would switch doctors.

Dr. Klapman has formed a wonderful therapeutic bond with our daughter. His office manager on the other hand is wholly inappropriate. She seems to believe that it is good customer service to "express her anger" to patients or parents of patients if they inconvenience her.

Dr. Klapman takes genuine interest in his patients' well-being. His focus on positive psychology is both unique and innovative. Dr. Klapman is truly the best doctor a patient could hope for.

He appeared to be falling asleep in the middle of some sessions. Both child's and parents' concerns were dismissed and he did not seem to care that we felt he was not hearing our concerns. We switched to a new provider after a few months and do not regret that decision. Dr. Klapman's snap-diagnosis was incorrect and we found more caring treatment elsewhere.

I've been a patient for 10 years and have found the doctor and staff extremely caring. Dr. Klapman works with me to ensure that medications are effective for me.

Dr.Klapman may have years of experience under his belt. But he struggles to recall the name of his patients. He lacks the ability to connect with youth. Under his "care" I was rendered into a drug induced psychosis and serverly traumatised by his staff at Lutheran General Hospital.
