This “doctor” used his position to assault me 30 years ago when his office was on East Flamingo Rd. I didn’t even know he still was practicing til I came upon his photo here and I got sick all over again

I am so happy to report that dr mason aka jerk has now retired and had to stop practicing on may 21st 2018. Reporting bad doctors is important so let their bosses know! Thank you Dignity health for taking action!

I went into see him because my doctor had retired and I was trying to get a refill for my anxiety medicine that I had been taking since I was 18. I was only there for 2 minutes because when I tried to explain what I needed he said: "its not gonna happen honey" and continued to raise his voice at me and made me feel like I was a drug addict. Again, this took place in 2 minutes. I got up and decided I was done with his temper tantrum and he told me to sit back down.

This doctor never has any patients in his waiting room. He is rude and has horrible bedside manner. He is either an alcoholic or tee-totaler, as he is obsessed with how much you drink, even if your health is excellent, and thinks more than a glass of wine a week is an alcoholic. He has a temper, and once loudly screamed at me in the hallway after an appointment.He also gossips about other patients. Please do yourself a favor, and find another doctor.

Dr. Mason is top notch. He is very thorough, takes time to explain lab results in detail, and takes into consideration the whole patient. He is sweet and kind and I so appreciate his demeanor. It makes a tremendous difference to have a doctor that you feel really cares about helping you be well. I can't say enough about him. The staff is very friendly and efficient as well and I have not had any trouble getting in for an appointment in a timely manner. I highly recommend Dr. Mason. If he saw children I would take my kids to him as well.
