Dr. Howard A Reber, MD

Dr Howard Reber is a world reknown surgeon who saved my life! He is tops in his field and I'm so grateful that he was my surgeon. He's the best of the best!

I went to Dr. Reber for a second opinion regarding a growth in my abdomen. The first opinion from a non renowned doctor was that it was a mesenteric cyst that could be drained with a needle. Doctor Reber expressed a fair amount of certainty that the growth was cancer and recommended that I do a drastic surgical procedure. He said that if I did the needle aspiration I would spread cancer cells throughout my body. So I listened to the world famous doctor instead of the unknown one and allow Dr. Reber to do the surgery on me. As it turned out it was a mesenteric cyst and could have been drained with a needle. It took three additional surgeries to repair the damage that Dr. Reber and his team did to my body. He left me with multiple hernias, traumatic muscle and nerve damage and a body that will never fully recover. I was only 47 years old at the time and was robbed of a healthy dynamic body and the ability to play with my young children. After the surgery he showed no remorse… other than to state that "sometimes with modern technology we find things that we probably should not find". He did not make any attempt to help me find someone who could help correct the damage that he had done to my body. He never called to see how I was doing and completely lost interest in me the minute after the surgery was complete. In fact, when I came back to have the staples removed from the incision noone from his surgical team remembered about the appointment and I was left waiting for 4 hours while they tried to track down someone from his team to come see me and remove the staples. My experience with Doctor Reber was extremely negative.
