Dr. Howard William Robinson, MD

My husband saw so many specialists before we found Dr. Robinson. He was the only person that was able to help him. He is a very dedicated, compassionate person. Thanks Doc!

I have been a patient of Dr. Robinson's for a year. I started seeing him for pain after foot surgery, with a pre-existing condition of Reflex Sympathetic dystrophy. Going to visit Dr. Robinson is like going to visit a friend. First, I cannot say enough about his office personnel, and staff. They are so caring, and so personable. They go the extra mile, even though I didn't even expect them to, because I'm just not used to being treated so unbelievably well by a medical office. They are so prompt in returning phone messages, and the general communication system that they practice is on serious point. They are just amazingly coordinated, and organized. They are so into their patients that they can remember your details, even though they just met you. I can call, and they know me right away, which makes it possible to help me with everything that I need in an extremely timely manner. You are not just a number to this office. This office is not just a factory, so they can bill as many… insurance companies as possible. They really care about their patients. They have bent over backwards to accommodate me. Half of the year, I actually travel over 900 miles, just for my appointments with him. He's worth it! I will never stop going to see Dr. Robinson, God willing. As far as Dr. Robinson, it's like talking to a good friend. I feel like I can discuss anything with him, without ever feeling judged, and especially without being treated like a drug addict, and looked down upon, like most pain clinics, these days. Yes, he watches medication usage closely, as he should. Yes, he drug tests to make sure that medications are being used appropriately, as he should. And, if he ever has any questioning about your prescription usage, he absolutely will confront you about it. However, he listens to what you have to say, and he does not give any attitude, or judgment about anything that is discussed. I honestly cannot say enough about Dr. Robinson, and his staff. If all doctors had this kind of demeanor, and this level of professionalism and integrity in their office, then people would trust doctors again, like they used to when doctors were "family" doctors over generations of family members. I have grown distrusting of doctors over the years, with their holier than thou, condescending attitudes and judgments. So, being a patient of Dr. Robinson's has given me hope again. All I can say is, you will not regret going to Dr. Robinson! I have zero ties to Dr Robinson, or anyone in his office, other than being a patient. I have no reason to write this review, other than my own wanting to spread the word about this fantastic, professional medical staff. Go one time and you will understand why I feel so strongly about these amazing people. Dr Robinson and his staff have made such a positive difference in my life. I would travel around the world to continue seeing him, if I had to. Again, he, and his staff, are worth every mile!

I have been going to Dr. Robinson off an on for several years! He is the very best! I have arthritis in my back! I could not walk for very long without experiencing bad pain! On Dec. 26 I had injections! I’ve been able to walk without pain. Spent yesterday at Disney World! I walked all day pain free! Thank you Dr. Robinson! I highly recommend him! He’s also very kind!

I had an excellent visit. He told me all the things I didn't want to hear but needed to hear. I need to lose weight to help alone in my back pain issue. His bedside manners were awesome. Highly recommend.

Have been seeing Doc for 6 years and he is the BEST. If he ever moves his practice I would follow him

best doctor i have ever had...been keeping my pain at bay for 10 years...

I was sent to Dr. Robinson for pain management following a herniated disk. His manner was rude and condescending. In every conversation he called me, "Hun" and told me that I needed to get off my pain meds without telling me how to do so. I had terrible withdrawal, and will never go back to him again.

I have been going to Dr. Robinson for a few years now. He and his staff are the best group of professional people I have ever gone too. They are always very kind to me. I live in Peotone, Il. so it is out of the way, but I wouldn't change Dr. to be closer to home for anything. i feel very comfortable and always at ease with Dr. Robinson and his staff.

My first encounter with Dr. Robinson was great, he made me feel at ease and explained to me what was going on with me without all of the bells and whistles. I truly appreciate being able to have Dr. Robinson as my pain management Dr. He is the BEST..and I would recommend him to family and friends.

Office staff rude-unprofessional. Doctor is excellent but in process of seeking another Doctor because of office staff.Uncaring staff. Do not give message to Doctor. They do not bill insurace co. correctly nor do they fax prescriptions in a timely fashion. This is a PAIN Doctor and patients need their Rx filled.
