Dr. Howard Routman, DO

Maria made an appointment with Dr. Routman. She was most helpful, & understanding in regard to my needs. Can’t say enough about the positive experience I had with Dr. Routman & wonderful staff. From my initial call with Maria, to being greeted with a smile by Terri, Front Desk and Manager, Dania Perez who helpful & assisted with my paperwork. Dania introduced me to Gifford, Medical Assistant who escorted us to the exam room. Gifford was so attentive going over medical history. Soon after PA, David performed a thorough evaluation. When Dr. Routman came in, he greeted us with a smile, it was a pleasure meeting him. He is knowledgeable, kind, caring, compassionate, thorough, an excellent listener with an outgoing personality, did not rush through my initial consultation and exam. Dr. Routman and his awesome staff who were a breath of fresh air. I felt comfortable, confident, positive reflection on Dr. Routman. Knew right away that I had selected an extraordinary orthopedic surgeon.… I highly recommend Dr. Routman without any reservations.

I knew right away that I had selected an extraordinary orthopedic surgeon. I sincerely recommend Dr. Routman without any reservations.

Dr Routman is the best in the business. From his diagnosis to the actual surgery itself you couldn’t ask to be in better hands. I’m 2 weeks past reverse shoulder replacement surgery and I never had much pain, hardly used pain killers, wear the sling 40% of the time , out of the recliner and have surprisingly good mobility at this early stage. I’m expecting nothing less than a smooth quick recovery going forward. If I didn’t have normal stiffness at times which improves daily and obviously at this stage not full anatomical range yet I’d never even known I’d had surgery. I just keep putting in the easy stretching etc and ice with a frozen water bottle and I’m good to go! Do not be afraid of reverse shoulder surgery performed by Dr Routman. It’s a piece of cake. For me at least lol!

Dr Routman is a phenomenal Dr He did my shoulder and it was a piece of cake He also has a great personality which makes it even better The ENTIRE staff is wonderful..yes each and everyone of them

Dr. Routman did my right shoulder replacement a few years ago. It feels amazing and I’ve gained so much strength afterwards. The VA arranged for me to see him. The VA physical therapists recommended him. I got my life back. I could barely raise my right arm before - even shampooing my hair was painful - and now I feel I have 100% shoulder range of motion. So very little pain after the surgery. I believe I only took 1 or 2 pain pills. Dr. Routman sat down with me for as long as I needed before the surgery. He even drew a diagram to help explain. I still have it. Now, I need the other shoulder done and I would not go to any other doctor. Again this past week he sat down with me and explained everything perfectly. His PA is awesome as well. I love the fact that he specializes in shoulders. So many times people go to sports medicine surgeons who do shoulders, elbows, knees, etc etc. He is indeed the shoulder guru! I recommend 100%

Can’t say enough about Dr Routman. He is a skilled surgeon and has a very reassuring warm manner as well. The only negative is he is so sought after there is generally a bit of a wait to see him but in my opinion worth the wait

Dr Howard Rothman is a amazing surgeon. I had Dr Montjo do my first 2 shoulder replacements and he did a tertible job. So bad tgat the replacements were digging into my bones where no bone left. Dr Rothman took on the task to replace both my shoulders. Dr Rothman used cadaver bone and steel wires to my replacements. I was told by Dr Rothman my shoulder replacements are one of a kind. Im so blessed i found the right surgeon. I think hes the best in the area. Thank you Dr Rothman! You are the best.

Dr. Routman is the best!! He took on my broken shoulder that 3 other orthopedic surgeons turned down, too difficult. One doctor told me I would never play golf again, but 1 1/2 years later I won our Club Championship.

Don’t go to Lake Worth location, there office staff there are rude. If you were injured on the job get ready for the corrupt Workers compensation doctor game. Dr. Routman lost my respect when he blamed me for subluxing my own shoulder. I dislocated it two times and was never able to voluntarily subluxed or dislocate my shoulder before. I still can’t do it on my own. I’m very hurt that a doctor would claim Im voluntarily causing my shoulder to fall out.I guess that’s his opinion But it’s wronf....I’m very upset, spend nights crying because I’m so fustrated. My lawyer told me Dr. Routman was going to do this.... I didn’t believe him... well now I do....

I had an 815 am appointment with my child and waited more than two hours to see the doctor. I was told the doctor was in a meeting. He spent less than 4 minutes in the exam room with us. Would NEVER go back to this practice.
