Dr. Howard C Weiss, MD

I never thought I would be submitting a poor review but the call I just had with the receptionist, Maria, was devastating and horrendous. I had been a patient of Dr Weiss for many years until 2018 when he stopped taking my insurance. I have a rare disease and was a big activist when first diagnosed. After having to find a new doctor due to insurance, Dr Weiss called me a couple of times about my illness to help other patients and I was happy to oblige. I saw him at my place of employment also and it was always lovely to still see him around town. After a very tough personal event I have finally started to try to find some purpose in my life and "make good" out of something very bad that happened to me that affected my disability. I joined a couple of organizations and had been working on a presentation for my disability amongst other things. I needed my doctor notes also to remind myself of details for this presentation which I thought I would ask for at the time and explain it all. I… called in asking if Dr Weiss could call me about events in 2016 as it related to my disability also as there is an overview in the UK relating to neck issues with EDS. My neck injury occurred circa 2016 so these notes are very important. Reception wanted details but I was loathe to give these. I explained the lovely relationship that I always had with Dr Weiss when I was his patient and that I am sure if they could pass the message on he would call me. The admin Maria was harsh and awful telling me I was "unprofessional" to mention that Dr Weiss had called me before and that she didn't want to know and to tell him when you see him. She went from saying they had a next day appointment to saying they had nothing until 9th January. Aggressive, unkind and I had no idea why she was frankly so cruel. I have a horrible degenerative disease and it has taken away nice memories that I had of someone who I saw as kind and who cared. It sounded like it is all about money now for 400USD just to see him as I was no longer a patient due to the 3 year rule "which I am sure you know about" as she sarcastically stated. No I did not. Never experienced a receptionist like it. What a sad ending. She also told me "Dr Weiss has just been told you want to speak to him" and so clearly the missive did come from him.

Wasn’t given the proper treatment!!

He's unbelievable, most compassionate, kind, caring and concerned doctor I've ever met. If you suspect Lymes, see this doctor.After my wife was misdiagnosed by a so called ID specialist, this doctor has been nothing short of amazing in the care he's provided her. We are ever greatful for finding Doctor Weiss.

I had Come from traveling over seas and visited Dr Weiss for a check up and right away he saw me and suggested That I may have belly warms . And Yes! after the stool test came back it showed that I indeed had warms. I Took the necessary prsecription and felt better after a couple days. Thabk you Dr Weiss and Staff

Dr. Weiss is a very professional and friendly man who set me at ease immediately. His office is comfortable and I felt that he had a genuine care for his patients. Despite my fear of needles, I was able to have a skin test, blood drawn, and a vaccination jab all in the space of one session and with minimum discomfort. I would recommend him and his practice highly.

Dr. Weiss is the example of a brilliant and a caring dr. I have never had a bad experience and each time I have seen him over the years his diagnosis has been right on. I with more doctors would be of his caliber. With dr .Weiss I felt like a patient and not a number.

Dr.Howard is very personable.He made me feel comfortable. The tests he did on me, did not hurt at all, it was rather quick and easy. I would recommend Dr. Weiss strongly.
