Dr. Howard Mark Wright, DO

I am not a patient of Dr. Wright’s but I have known him for decades because I take his patient to see him frequently. I am very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge and expertise. Last Monday I was taking the patient in and he happen to notice my skin condition and questioned the treatment. He then informed me that I needed internal Cortizone treatment. I left his office and immediately contacted my dermatologist who ordered the regimen and it helped significantly. I am so grateful to him for his unsolicited advice. I was not going to mention it because I was not his patient but he willingly helped me and I cannot thank him enough! This is the amazing person that he is.

An RN's point of view.... The Best of the Best!!! I can't say enough good things about this clinic. I'm a retired RN and I and my family come here and we feel very confident in the care we receive. Dr. Wright is our physician and he is AMAZING!!! I've worked around many doctors over many years in nursing and I can tell you he is the Best. He's very caring and listens to your needs. He always knows the right thing to do and is very very knowledgeable. Yes the wait to see him may be a bit long sometimes, but Good one of kind Doctors are worth waiting for. We drive an hour to see him because there is no one else better as far as we are concerned. Our prior Doctor was not even comparable to Dr. Wright. His PA's have been very good and knowledgeable and seem to really enjoy their jobs and have told us that they love working with Dr. Wright because they really learn allot. I totally agree with them that he's one of the most knowledgeable doctors I've ever known. He's really good at… explaining treatments to his patients and answering their questions on a level that they can understand, which is very important. His office staff has been very helpful and do a good job with such a busy schedule they have to keep up with. I can see why they are so busy with having such great doctors on staff. I've never gone to Dr. Mike, but my family has and they have nothing but good to say about their appointment time with him. So over all you will get great care here but may have to expect to wait because these doctors care and take time with you to explain things and don't rush you in and out just to make $. It's not about that here. It's about you getting the care you deserve. No office is perfect and things need to re-evaluated now and then. This office has been very good at making changes when possible to make things run smoother. They listen to suggestions and make sure your voice is heard. All I can say is Dr. Wright is a busy doctor for a reason. That should tell you something.... The Best in my opinion. Worth waiting for!!! Sheryl Knight

I was on my very last leg when I saw Dr. Write, I had been conditioned into helplessness, but my husband begged that I try one more - Dr. Write, who he'd been researching. After 13 years of mistreatment, I had completely lost all faith in the Medical field's ability to perform with empathy and consideration for the patient's dignity. I could write a book. When I saw Dr. Write, it was through the glass, but I saw immediate compassion on his face; although he had yet to see me. When we had our first apointment, I left feeling hope, something I haven't felt in a while. I suffer from a rare disease that most Doctors only know about by reading up on it in their PDR. Since it's rare. If you don't know your stuff, you can't possibly begin to fathom how horrible this disease is. It effects every thing in my body, from sleeping, eating, brain function and the will to live (,make no mistake, there are one or two illnesses that can take that away. It's physiological, not mental. My QoL was… beyond zero, and I was trapped inside myself with noone willing to think what devastation this disease could do, even though I would say if you were to ask a non-professional off the street what they thought would happen if this particular organ stopped working through a TBI, most would say you couldn't love without it. That is true, especially if it takes someone around here 10 years to get the diagnoses. I won't ever be 100% because it took that long, had I been diagnosed sooner, I might have had a chance to get my entire life back, but as it stood, I couldn't find a Doctor who could figure out (or didn't want the hassle) to care for a patient like me. Now, I not only have hope, I have what seems to be the last Doctor on earth who actually cares about his patients. Unfortunately a rarity in these days, but in such high need. Thank you Dr. Write.

Dr. Wright and his team are excellent. I have been a patient there for over twenty years. The office has a lab and x-ray facility so things are very convenient. I cannot ask for a finer physician.

Very rude staff. I signed in, paid my balance, filled out a survey and 25 minutes later after I was alone in the waiting room I went to ask if they forgot me, apparently I was never checked in. The MA eventually called me back, put me in a room without ever asking what I was in for. A pactioner entered the room, not who I had an appointment with. Very, very disappointed with how I was treated

Long waits, terrible staff, and orders unnecessary medical procedures that end up billed direct to you instead of insurance. Avoid at all costs.

I was probably one of Dr Wrights first 50 patients , always always there when I needed him,when my insurance wasn't the best he did whatever he could to give me samples,if I ever needed to see him, I always got an appointment same day, when I have seen him at the end of the appt,he tell me to call next day to make sure I'm feeling better, great beside manner, and genuinely cares about his patients , wouldn't go anywhere else.His staff is the best as well!!!!

Wait times can be long for appointments... do they overbook here? .... my time is worth something too, ya know? But once you get in, Dr. Wright and his PAs are terrific. There's real expertise here in nutrition, geriatrics and sports medicine, a really nice and caring staff, and attention to detail on coding and insurance stuff. Also, they're liberal with free samples of expensive pharmaceuticals. (Don't get me started on the ripoff artists in Big Pharma.)
